Last Minute Shopping... For the Wii
Has anyone checked the status of the Wii on ebay recently? It seems some smart folks bought some, left them unopened, then put them on ebay this week, trying to catch desperate parents off guard. Has it worked? Last time I checked, the Wii was selling at $500.
NOTE: The PS3 is at $1500!

Bringing Gaming Back
Yes, I did. Yes, I am. No, I don't.
I'm Bringing Gaming Back
by Justin Timberflake
I'm bringing gaming back
Sony and XBox don't know how to act
Nintendo's heading for a sneak attack
Bringing the video gaming market back
Wii's the name
You see my buttons baby play the game
Nothing in gaming will be quite the same
Nintendo crawled but then the Wiimote came
Come here girl
Come to the back
VIP
Games on me
Lemme see whatchur playin' with
Show me that twist
It makes me smile
Lemme play it for a while

Seriously? $600? Wow...
"Now wait a minute, you said $600? Is that in yen? Really, dollars? Are you sure?"
~A would-be PS3 lover
Hold on now, let's think about the logic, shall we? Take a PS2, make two of the buttons touch-sensitive, add HD graphics, and add unused motion sensors. Does that compute to an addition of $470?
No, not in my book. Who are these guys kidding? The Wii is the most innovative, most remarkable gaming console in all of history. How much does it cost, you ask? $500? $1000?
Nope, only $250. That's less than half the price of the PS3. Now which would you rather have, the PS3 with zero games, or the Wii with 7? Same price (if an average game is $50).
Sorry Sony, notta chance.
