A Revolution in Gaming

August 28th, 2006

Today Nintendo announced the release of its latest game console, the "GameCube 2", which will be on the shelves in time for Australian National Flag Day. The console includes an extensive launch library of four games.

In addition the GameCube 2 features a controller almost identical to its predecessor's, except for a few new features. These include a nose hair trimmer and a toothpick dispenser. The new controller is also now colored pink with purple polka-dots.

The console has the approximate dimensions of a washing machine, which would be perfect for setting a TV on, except it's rounded on top. It also features HD video (which we all know makes gaming more fun), so if you have an HDTV, you'll be able to appreciate the new console's power.

Unfortunately, due to Nintendo's marketing department forcing the console out early, the GameCube 2 often explodes in the middle of a gaming session, forcing the gamer to reassemble, restart, and replay the game to get back to where he was when the eruption occured. The console does not include an 'auto-save-before-detonation' feature.

The GameCube 2 will cost a bagillion dollars and will be available September 3rd.
