My 10 Favorite Sites

It seems everyone else is putting together their own toplists, so I've decided to tell you what my current ten favorite sites are.

1. GetFirefox.com

Seriously, GET IT FREE. IE just doesn't do web like Firefox does. Security, quality, peace of mind. Ditch the blue E.

2. YouOS

This is seriously the most exciting thing I've ever been a part of. Access all your files and programs from any computer with an internet connection. Free.

3. StumbleUpon

This is honestly the coolest way to find awesome web sites. Sign up free, tell it your interests, and BAM! it finds top-rated sites instantly. Didn't like that pick? Tell it so, and you won't see any like it either. Note: You need Firefox for this.

4. Gmail

Do you Yahoo? STOP! Use Gmail. Unlimited space, AJAX tech, online backup, auto-folders, and tons more make this the most awesome webmail ever.

5. Digg 3.0

No tech news site beats Digg. And now, 3.0 make live lookups easy. No more RSS, this flash app loads the info right into the browser window.

6. Google Maps

Stop using Mapquest and Expedia, unless your mind works as slow as their map services. Want more info on Google Maps? Click here.

7. Toogle

Ever wanted to turn a picture into text? Maybe not. This site looks up an image (using Google's Image Search) that fits your search terms and turns it into text. Cool for a rainy day.

8. Animusic

Drop dead cool. This guy takes his own tracks and makes them into animations, kinda like music videos. Check it out.

9. ClickDensity

Have a web site? Want to see where people click on it the most? This site shows you a heat map of your site. Cool.

10. ThinkFree Online

Screw Microsoft Office and the equally clunky StarOffice and Open Office. Try ThinkFree, an online, full feature version of Word. Prepare to be amazed.

AJAX Site of the Week: Netvibes
